What to tell us
You do not need any of this to get an answer, but the more of it we have, the more useful the first reply is:
- The postcode, so we know the area and can check the permission position.
- Which rooms, and roughly how big they are.
- Whether it is a house or a flat, and if a flat, whether it is leasehold.
- A photo of the outside wall where the outdoor unit might go. This one saves the most time.
- For a repair: the make, and a photo of any error code on the display.
What happens next
- We reply, usually the same working day, with a realistic price range and anything obvious we can already see about permission.
- Free survey, usually within 48 hours in north London. We measure, find the outdoor position, check the electrics.
- Written fixed price with the make and model of every unit and what is included.
- You decide. There is no follow-up campaign and no pressure. If you go quiet, we assume the answer is no.
