Yes, and it is the most common property we work on in N15. The engineering is straightforward; what decides it is the lease and the freeholder.

Can you fit it without touching the front of the building?
Almost always. Rear elevation, ground level or on brackets, with the pipe run boxed and painted rather than left as a bare surface run.
On a terrace the front elevation is the one position that reliably causes a planning problem, so we design to avoid it.
What does a one-bedroom flat cost?
A single wall unit in one room is £2,400 to £3,200 installed, and a small flat is usually at the lower end because the pipe runs are short.
